Knight Marketing Wins National Awards
Venice, Florida, May 3, 2010--Following on the heels of its five local Addy awards, Knight Marketing has recently won eleven awards in two national competitions for health care advertising. The Venice, Florida-based agency, which has a number of national accounts in the health care industry, picked up seven Aster Awards and four in the Healthcare Advertising Awards competition.
The winning work included a gold Aster for a campaign to promote a freestanding emergency room for Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, and a gold Healthcare Advertising Award for an online campaign to promote VITAS, the nation's largest hospice provider, on the Web site WebMD. Knight Marketing also garnered several silver and bronze awards, including a silver Aster for an invitation it designed for Physicians Regional Medical Center in Naples.
The Aster Awards are sponsored each year by the national trade journal Marketing Healthcare Todayü while the Healthcare Advertising Awards are sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report (HMR). In this, its 27th year of hosting the competition, HMR received more than 4,000 entries from agencies and health care facilities across the country, and bestowed approximately 750 awards.
Both competitions are judged by an independent panel of judges comprised of design and health care marketing professionals.
Knight Marketing, a 13-year-old company, is owned by Tracy Knight. For a complete list of awards and additional information, visit www.knightmarketing.com
